Mythos

Mythos is from San Jose, CA and has been entertaining audiences all over the west coast since 1998.  Their expansive repertoire of rebetika (Greek blues), laiko (popular music), dimotika (traditional folk) as well as island music has dazzled audiences all over the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California as well as places like Portland, Oregon; Vancouver, Canada; and Anchorage, Alaska.  You can find them at various Greek festivals, baptisms, weddings, and dinner-dances.  Mythos has also performed as the opening act for Glykeria, arguably the most popular female performer in Greece for the last 30 years.  Their lineup consists of bouzouki, guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and the captivating vocals of Sylvia Kalivitis. 

Mythos performs Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon till 9PM in the main courtyard of McCoy pavilion at Ala Moana Park.
